Description

The 126th U.S. Open returns to Shinnecock Hills, one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States (founded in 1891) and a course infamous for producing some of the highest scoring averages in major championship history.

Shinnecock has hosted the U.S. Open five times, including the controversial 2018 edition, where brutal course conditions pushed scoring to extreme levels. Winning scores here have often hovered close to par, underlining its reputation as one of golf’s toughest tests.

Defending Champion: J.J. Spaun
The U.S. Open purse has reached USD 21.5 million, making it one of the richest tournaments in golf, with the winner earning over USD 4.3 million.

Expect a field of the world’s top-ranked players, competing in a championship known for low winning margins, elite pressure, and career-defining moments.
