Diksha's Second Top-10 finish, Pranavi T-17 at Aramco Team Series

Diksha Dagar maintained her consistent form by securing her second consecutive Top-10 finish with a solid 1-under 71 on the last day of the Aramco Team Series - Tampa. Her total score of 6-under 210, achieved with rounds of 69 and 70 in the earlier days, placed her tied for sixth. Another Indian golfer, Pranavi Urs, making her debut season on the Ladies European Tour (LET), also concluded with a commendable performance, carding an even-par 72 on the final day to finish T-17 at 3-under for the tournament.

Diksha Dagar and Pranavi Urs Shine at Aramco Team Series

Both Diksha and Pranavi, who have previously tasted success on the Women’s Pro Golf Tour in India, have made a promising start on the LET. Diksha, who previously finished T-9 in Morocco and T-19 in Kenya, now holds the 17th position on the LET Order of Merit, while Pranavi, ranked as the top golfer in India in 2022, sits in 14th place after her T-5 finish in Morocco.

The tournament saw Germany’s Alexandra Forsterling clinch the title with a final round of 67 (-5), finishing at 12-under, securing a three-shot victory.

Reflecting on her performance, Diksha expressed mixed feelings, acknowledging the challenges posed by the windy conditions but also highlighting some positive moments in her game. Pranavi, on the other hand, cherished her first experience in the Aramco Team Series, particularly enjoying playing alongside Bronte Law and Sophia Popov. She noted the windy conditions as a challenge but felt she managed them well, citing her best moment as the five consecutive birdies she achieved on the first day.

Meanwhile, Alexandra Forsterling maintained her composure throughout the final round to claim her third LET title, finishing at -12. England’s Charley Hull secured second place, while Bronte Law finished third after a strong final-day performance.

The Spanish duo of Ana Peláez Trivino and Carlota Ciganda concluded the tournament in a share of fourth place, while five players, including Diksha Dagar, finished tied for sixth.

The LET now takes a two-week break before the Women’s NSW Open in Australia, scheduled for March 29-31 at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club.
