Pranavi finishes fifth, Diksha 9th in Morocco

Last week saw notable achievements for the Indian pair, Pranavi Urs and Diksha Dagar, who both secured impressive finishes within the Top-10 at the Lalla Meryem Cup.

Pranavi delivered a standout performance, carding a 6-under 67, marking her inaugural Top-5 placement on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with a total score of 8-under 211 for the tournament. Meanwhile, Diksha Dagar closed with a final round of 72, concluding at 5-under and securing ninth place.

Bronte Law of England emerged as the victor after a remarkable final round of 64 (-9), rallying from behind to clinch a three-shot win in Morocco amidst a day of intense competition and low scores. Pranavi showcased a strong start, notching four birdies and an eagle on the front nine, achieving a remarkable 6-under 31. Despite a bogey on the 17th hole, she finished with a commendable 67. Diksha, on the other hand, managed birdies on the second, third, and 14th holes but faced setbacks with bogeys on the 13th and 15th, ultimately posting a 71.

Law's triumph was fueled by a stellar performance, including eight birdies, one eagle, and one bogey over the course of 16 holes, securing her third LET victory. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of France secured the runner-up position at ten-under-par, with Maria Fassi of Mexico and Fatima Fernandez Cano of Spain tying for third place at nine-under-par.
